So when you get busy you get BUSY!! @o@ Well tomorrow my mom goes in for sergery to have the rest of her teeth removed from her upper jaw. We have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off. I also re-injured my lower back to I haven't been able to go to dance class at all this week. I am sooo peeved off... But that's fine take some meds for the pain and swelling keep ice on it and don't sit for long periods of time. I keep felling like I am going to fall over sideways and backwards. But no stress and lots of streching. I should be up and going for monday. Till then happy thoughts.
So I admit that I haven't been perfect on the diet but I have lost 12lbs so like I have said before eat healthy and just keep trying. Beginning any diet is hard and doing new things can be very difficult.
Well we shall keep going!

Yawn!
So been at my friends place over night and all day today... so no way of doing diet. The only thing remotely low carb was the lettuce, but as you know I am allergic to it. So tomorrow we start again and go full swing with belly dance week two. I know you guys who are reading are going there's nothing here. Well there will be once I have more than a couple min to think. I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow but we'll see.
So short SHORT post. I'll talk to you guys tomorrow!

Grumpy
Ok I must admit I am very grumpy right now. I am not sleeping well everyone is getting in my way of trying to accomplish things and I seem to not have kas much time to myself as I had hoped. I am sorry I didn't post yesterday my internet went down when I had some time to myself so I ended up just playing spider solitare on the computer... My PS3 has been torn down and we're trying to fix it as the power won't turn on. Everything seems ok but we re-heated the saulder in the processor conections and gave it more goop. Hopefully it isn't the PSU I'll know tomorrow.
As for the diet today I took a day off good thing too I might be staying the night at my friends place just in case neither of the parents are able to make it back on time. I didn't have time to pack anything but the personal essentials so I am not crying at all. They are good people just a little disorganized still. It's been one trial after another. lol. We shall see. I hope things settle down for them.
So yesterday was just an omlette in the morning and spaghetti for dinner. I had some dry roasted peanuts for a snack and some soda with watermelon. I am not really hungry as of late but we shall see. I have to start counting my carbs but with my schedule being so off I haven't even been able to make a meal plan. Grrrr. I am ready for a vacation soon. Tomorrow I shall see what gets done. I have the day off. My list is comparable to Santa's. Wish me luck. And if you guys are reading this please click follow. We all start out small but grow so big!

Good day
So a light post today. Very tired today had a bad night. I keep forgetting to have my potassium as I am starting to workout harder, and ouch! my calves have been screaming charlie all night. Well I am doing some stretches constantly today and after I get home a good soak and massage for my poor legs. LoL all my fault but i don't think someone who is 350 should go up on relivate for anything other than to reach for something. Oh well.
So not too special for food today I have been running around everywhere and now again babysitting. So quick foods. I made myself a fried egg sandwich with cheese and sugar reduced ketchup from Heinz. That was another product I forgot to tell you about. And for dinner I had some pasta with spaghetti with a meat sauce. Again watch your labels and keep it low. I am following it up with a cup of blueberry, ginger and ginseng tea I found in my friends cupboard.
So I told you I would tell you how the marshmallows were. They weren't bad not great either as the flavor was a little lac-luster, but the texture was good and no after taste which I hate more than anything. I wouldn't mind them hanging around my place tempting me, because I won't feel guilty giving in.
The Ketchup is not as sweet as the original Heinz and defiantly not something you can just pour onto your fries. It stands to reason that there would be differences it is made with Splenda and has a richer texture and fuller body. I enjoyed it quite a bit on my eggs. But do be careful as it can taste like tomato paste out of a can if you use too much. All in all a great save on carbs, with only 1 gram compared to 5 grams, I say go and buy it, you'll definitely use less and enjoy it more.
Anyways I will sign off for tonight and go play games. I seem to find with how busy I am, I am filling in with just as much gaming time. My poor little hamster G needs his cage cleaned. I was supposed to today and I got caught up in games. So tomorrow first thing I do is give him a clean. And attack my room. I will be accepting another hamster soon and I need a spot for him/her.
GN all talk to you tomorrow.

yummy!
So thought I would pop in and tell you what I made today for food. I did a bit of a twist on my salad. I melted butter in a pan and added tumuric, hungarian sweet paprika, thyme, sweet basil, salt and pepper. I sauted 1/4 of a small onion thinly sliced for long strips and cooked that on a medium heat till they started to caramelize. Then I took one slice of the Multigrain low carb bread mentioned in the previous post, and diced it. I added it to the spices, butter and onions tossed then finished in the oven till crispy. Not too long or they will burn.
Then in a separate large bowl I added the sweet kale mix I got from costco, you can use regular salad greens. I like to mix different types. Pull the croutons out of the oven and let cool slightly. Your onions should all look slightly crispy not burnt, if not don't worry it'll take practice it will still be yummy! Add to salad and I had Kraft Sundried Tomato and Parmasean cheese dressing in the fridge. I topped with some greated Dubliner cheese but a Parmasean or Asiago would be delicious here. Toss and enjoy.
For dinner I made a bechamel sauce and added tumuric and curry powder and finished with dubliner cheese. Set aside. Packaged sauce from knorr works just fine or make from scratch. I heated my oven to 350 and roasted cauliflower which had been tossed in oil curry power, tumuric and salt and pepper. Roast till tender and golden brown. Set aside as well. I also sauted off some onions. I cooked of some pasta, elbow in this case, and tossed everything together. You can eat as is or if you have a baking dish fill and top with cheese and bake off till golden brown.
You can have tons of different flavors depending on the spices you use. Have fun. As you can see I picked a flavor palette and just went for it. I like to do that when I experiment because I am not hitting alot of different flavors and confusing my pallette. Later I will write these up like a normal recipe but I want to share right now to show you my thought pattern. I go nuts in a kitchen and can make some yummy things and some not so yummy things. I mean disasters lol. So have fun. And share what you have created. I will eventually have a working phone so I will take pictures to show and have a better layout of the blog. But till then I can only learn. GN y'all I'm gonna go stomp some Kuppa's!

Sorry
Sorry I missed yesterday guys. I had Belly dance classes for Monday and Tuesday... and wow I am sore. "This" doesn't go on point I'm telling you I have increased my potassium for the cramps lol! So I got home and pretty much went straight to bed. Yesterday was a long day left the house at 9 am to get my mom to the denture office then hit Ikea, Costco, and Low Carb Grocery. Then pick up dad and go to Belly dance classes. Finish get home soak my legs and go to bed. That was one long day as the only pleasure was dance class. Check out Lava Studio. She is an incredible dancer and instructor. She does many events so check out her site! Also please Like her on FB Lava!.
So kinda picked through fast food for my meals. I had hot dogs for lunch (no bun) And came home to have hot dogs again. But I have purchased produce and products. I unfortunately don't have any way of taking pictures right now as my phone needs repairs.I bought Multigrain and Seeds Bread, La Tortilla Whole Wheat Tortillas (small), Dreamfield Pasta (assorted), La Nouba Marshmallows, that's new for me I'll tell you how they are later :). Erythritol crystals I haven't used this product as well so I have some recipes that will give this a good run. Watermelon Syrup which I am drinking right now with some club soda which has 0 carbs. So in total about 2 carbs as I am having a tall. All this cost me around $70. The store in Burnaby is having a sale so I saved a good penny. Thank you Low Carb Grocery! I will be in contact with you soon!
So Saturday I started a new video game as I was bored waiting for the father of the little one I watch to come home and I found Super Mario Bros for the Wii. Well in a couple hrs I was half way through world 2. My friend and daddy to the little one isn't too happy I am ahead of him and he's been playing for a long time. LoL. I have as I said been replaying Half Life 2 and I have only 4 more achievements to complete.Once my computer is up and running again. I will boot up Diablo 3 *snore* and maybe finish all the other characters with their achievements. I can't believe I chose to buy it instead of buying The Secret World. I really want to play that and Portal 2. I am very behind on my games and I think it I can keep some extra $ to the side I can buy what I really want to play this year. I have a huge list of games to finish but my PS3 has an issue so my dad is going to give me a hand with doing some repairs, since PlayStation won't fix this known issue!!! You would think after the lawsuit they had a few years back, which I was part of, that these kind of problems would be included in the whoops factor. Grrr. Anyways we'll get that done and I can finish off a truck load of games.
I have also found one guy who is selling tons of Japanese games all the way back to the beginning. His prices are incredible and his selection is even better. I only have his link from Craigslist. I will ask if he wants his email up. :) Check him out.
What else.
Oh I know what I am doing for today for my diet. Well I really wasn't hungry this morning. Missing a meal is not a good thing, I don't recommend it. But if your body goes 'you want to feed me, hells no!' I would listen. So I am just having some club soda with watermelon syrup, it is delicious. I will try to have a salad for lunch. I picked up a sweet kale salad mix from Costco yesterday. My body doesn't like to eat Spinach, Kale, or ANY form of Lettuce, as I get Diarrhea for about 24 hrs after, long story but I am trying to see if I can force it to reset. Go a period without and then add it back in, keeping the Imodium close at hand. *shrug* But I will list it for you guys once I figure out what I will top it with. It comes with goodies but that is where we all get caught. Oh it's a salad it's healthy. Then you add the dressing and toppings they give you. Unless it is a seed mix unseasoned just roasted, give it to a friend cause they load it with sodium and sometimes sugar. Not to mention that sometimes it's croutons! Bread are arch nemisis! If you can get your hands on low carb bread (and I think I will do this too) grab one slice butter it and season with garlic rosemary and thyme. Grab what ever you have in the cubord. Just be sure to check the lables of pre-mixed seasoning some have a ton of sugar. and toast in the oven. You can either butter then slice and toss in the seasoning or melt the butter add the seasoning, stir and then toss the bread peices. Either way works well. And then grab a dressing from the store again find something you like. If it is higher in carbs then you need to sacrifice that amount during the day. When I have finished writing up the how to, it will show you how to play around with your carbs. Planning is the easyist way to do this but if you end up going out. Just try to be as close as you can to low carb.
SO for dinner I was (now) thinking I would saute up some veg and heat up some spagetti sauce or a cream sauce and toss with pasta, put it in the oven and broil with cheese on top... *drool* Next week is cheque week so I will buy a couple more things from the Low Carb store and I'll be good. I still need to hit my fruit stand for produce but I am good for now.
So for the rest of the day I need to clean my room up as it became a dumping ground while I was up at 100 mile. Then clean the pets. And go pick the little one up at school. Then cook dinner for her. I will work on the how to after she goes to bed and maybe make another post. We'll see I am thinking once I have done some typing I will go play Super Mario since I can only play it at their place. So I guess I will talk to you tomorrow. Good night Blog readers. Please follow me.

Snow!!!
I got up this morning to SNOW!!! As beautiful as it is I travel by bus and that isn't beautiful. People are grumpy so needless to say I didn't get nearly everything I wanted to get done done. Because of the snow I wasn't able to make it to the Low Carb Grocery. I will try again tomorrow. I really need some food in the house and it's getting harder to figure out food. I have some eggs an 1 and 1/2 green peppers. Some pasta and sauce. There's 3 of us living here and that is far from enough food for all three.
I am currently getting dinner ready as I will be leaving early for Belly Dance classes. I will not miss them even if I have to kill some zombies on my way! I will have Pasta and sauce. Green peppers will be for eggs in the morning.
For breakfast today I had a 2 egg scramble with green peppers and a couple sausage links I found left over from a couple nights ago. I seasoned the eggs with tumuric and garlic, salt and pepper. I first cooked off the green peppers and sausage then added the seasoned egg and just scrambled them till done not dry. Topped with a bit of ketchup (tho you can omit that) Nice and hardy.
Once I have done a proper grocery shop I will be able to lay out a meal plan and daily schedule so you guys can follow me. Of course I don't expect you to follow to a tee but simple exclusions are always easy to make. Like the food. If you don't have certain things substitute others. Once you are going and learn subs for things your imagination is your only block. And excercise, not everyone will want to do belly dance or even dance, but any form of excercise is great. Go for a walk either short and fast or long and slow. Just get up to start and you'll be excercising. lol. For those hardcore never see the light of day gamers... You have to grab food or go to the bathroom not to mention every-so-often go to the store or work. Practice holding your muscles tight while walking and picking things up. Add some smaller weights to your dest 1-2 lbs and do some arm work. Stand up for 2 min and do some squats, lunges or planks. These are quick and do a lot in the long term. If you follow a good eating plan it is doable. :)
I sound skinny don't I... well I definatley am not but my health tests say I am. So I am doing something right about my health and even if you don't lose that 100lb's you'll still be healthier than you are now.
Again I am working on a couple things for you guys. Like a break down of a low carb diet. I do things with substitutions but keep to the same carb count. It's just having a source. I will try my best in future posts as well, of what you can use if you don't have access to online shopping or a local supply in your area. Talk to you guys later tonight. Wish me a good butt kicking!

@o@ I'm baaaaaccckkk
So today I caught up on my missing sleep and feel great. Laundry is done and food was great. I had less than listed but that's because I woke up real late. Like 4:30pm late. But after yesterday I needed to recover and taking a day is a great way to do that. I had Pasta and homemade mushroom sauce with pork tenterloin covered in Johnny's Great Ceasar Farlic Spread & Seasoning. You can get that at Costco here. I don't know who else has it but it's delicious! Light dinner as I wasn't too hungry. Tomorrow I shall see what I will have. Till then very short post. I have some research to do for you guys. And tomorrow is a shopping trip at The Low Carb Grocery's new location in Burnaby BC, just behind my favorite store Galloway's. Talk to you guys tomorrow.

So not a great start...*sob*
Ok I am not going to lie to you today was a total gong show. I woke up at 11:30 am with one hell of a crakin'headache. I have mentioned before that I suffer from cluster headaches and that they are a migraine level of pain all day and it sucks when they spike... well today is one of those days. I watch my friends daughter when the parents have to work late and tonight was my night to watch her. She is 4 and the cutest little lady I have ever met. But she also has a temper to match. Yesterday was a 3 fit day but today she was perfect. I am so happy with her. She kept me company and stayed calm for me. We watched some tv and watched a couple movies. Had a nice dinner and had a bath. She was fantastic and I kept thanking her.
Needless to say I haven't been in this much pain to have no want to even move in a while. Today left me sick to my stomach and I don't even want to eat. So we will start tomorrow. I hope this will not be a show of progression and I can keep watching the little one and it doesn't affect my ability to watch her.
So I just found out one of the stores I shop online with has just opened a new store here in burnaby,bc. I am soooooo excited. It's called The Low Carb Grocery and they have fantastic products. They are unfortunately closed on sundays but are open mondays. So I will head down and do some shopping. I will also be taking belly dance classes with my favorite teacher Lava who owns Lava Studio here in Vanouver BC. I have taken classes but this year she has switched it up and is specializing each class. I will be doing mondays and tuesdays. Two different classes for the next 10 weeks. I am stoked. Now I know you guys are excited to know if I game or if I just wanted a catchy title. Well I do. I am currently running through Half Life 2 again. Playing each night with my headcrab on lol. I also play facebook games beyond what I should. I have been light on it for the last 2 weeks as I was visiting friends up at 100 mile. I am still getting my schedule back and running. First is veggies!! I miss my veggies!!! LoL. Any ways I am gonna catch some z`s till the little ones dad comes home and then do the mundane job of laundry when I get home. Then sleep till I can`t sleep no more. I will start the diet tomorrow and do more house work to get my room done. I will tell you guys later what I have done in there. You`ll all think I`m nuts or brilliant. We`ll see. Till tomorrow GN!

Then sleep till I can`t sleep no more. I will start the diet tomorrow and do more house work to get my room done. I will tell you guys later what I have done in there. You`ll all think I`m nuts or brilliant. We`ll see. Till tomorrow GN!

Well as I babbled yesterday I will be short today. So I will be starting in the morning the journey of low carbing! Yay! I think I will start early... if I wake up... with having some eggs with peppers and onions. Topped with cheese and ketchup cause I love my ketchup and toast!!
Then lunch will be Steamed veg of choice leftover pork with butter and garlic. Pretty bland but you can kick it up by stirfrying the veg in garlic ginger and peanut oil. Add ginger and/or chili if you like a kick! The pork was cooked with a light coating of hoisin sauce for flavor and I just used pork tenderloin. Nice munchie!
Dinner will be Pasta, yes pasta, with 4 cheese and tomato sauce. I am using jarred but in the case of pasta sauce it usually doesn't have much but the normal ingredients. If you use preprepared things just check the label. I look for pasta sauce that is 5 grams of carbs or less for 1/2 cup or close to it. The more the better but watch out for added sugars and sodium.
Now I think this is a great time to tell you guys about some products on the market that are low carb and good. They taste good and are not to killer on crap to fill the product with. Obviously I said Pasta and I know everyone is going 'I thought you were doing low carb that's like killer on a whole week of carbs'. Well yes if you don't use the right pasta. I have tried many pasta substitues and trust me nothing substitutes pasta but pasta. There are a few products out there that are fine if you are just looking for bulk with a different texture but don't mine it being different than pasta. First and you will see it in books and sites, is spagettii squash the neutrition is as follows 1/2 cup is 5 grams carbs, 1 gram dietary Fiber which equals 4 grams of carbs. This is good. And for those who like squash it is a good replacement and available at the local grocery stores pretty much all year round. Another is Shiritaki noodles. These are made from yam or tofu. They come packaged in liquid that needs to be rinced off. Shiritaki noodles are kind of like hard jello. I find they have a flavor some people find they don't so I really suggest trying them as only you can tell if you like them or not. They are fully cooked so running them under hot water is more than enough. Play around using them in the same manor as any other noodle and they can be anywhere from 1-2 grams per package. Nothing to sneeze at right. >o<.
Then there is the best pasta ever. Dreamfields Pasta. It is pasta but with a twist. I can sit here all day and talk about them but I shall just give you a link to there site http://www.dreamfieldsfoods.com/ . Visit and read everything you need to know is there. It has been talked about on Racheal Ray for diabetis month. That is exciting if you know who she is. I have been using this product since it has been on the market. I tried every low carb option available to me, and trust me I have had some OMG WTF moments wishing to remove the memory from my mouth tries. Let`s just say one should not have food that tasted of diesel fuel. Yuck! Dreamfields cooks just like pasta. Tastes like pasta. Has the veriety of pasta. And is pasta! Try it when you get the chance you won`t regret it. It`s only 5 grams of carbs per serving!
For my days on induction I am going to have between 20-30 grams of carbs taking into account that we are counting Net Carbs. For those who do not know how to figure out net carbs or even what they are, here you go a 101 in net carbs.
Net carbs are carbs with fiber and surgar alchohols removed. It has been shown that these two `Carbs` don`t have as high of an impact on your gluclose levels as originally thought. So especially for those who are diabetic, your gluclose levels have to be good or you will have a multitude of complications. Now for those who do or are going to low carb and those who are diabetic this is great news as we can now have a larger array of foods previously kept on the no-no list. To calculate take a look at the neutrition list on the package. Under Carbohydrates it will usually list the break down of the types of carbs in the product. Fiber, Sugar, Sugar Alchohols, including Maltatol. Now Sugar is sugar the rest of them Fiber, Sugar Alchohols and Maltatol can be subtracted from the total carbs, for example. If Carbs are 23 grams and listed under is the following Fiber 8, Sugar 2, Sugar Alchohols 10 and Maltatol 2 You do the following. Total carbs 23-Fiber 8- Sugar Alchohols 10 -Maltatol 2 it equals = 3. That is what you count for Net Carbs. Some products will have Maltatol and some will not. I want to put a warning out there. Sugar Alchohols and Maltatol in large quantities have a laxitive effect some people more than others, so pay attention to your body. That bag of chocolates might only work out to 3 grams for the whole bag but trust me you will regret it. As with EVERYTHING moderation is the key. If you don`t deny yourself then you can`t crave it. But being smart about those endulgances is the key. YOU CAN HAVE IT! So don`t binge. That is what other diets say to do but limit you down till you are craving it till you die!
Now not to say that you won`t have cravings, you will oh boy you will, especially at the beginning. You will need will power. You should portion things out. I will talk about low carb portion control in another post but know that with any change you will want to go back to where you were. You are making a change and change is hard but change is good. If you are a BIG eater then smaller portions will do you well. If you are a snacker or small eater a more balanced 3 meal days are better. You`ll figure out what you need to do.
Now one last notation before I sign off for this post. If you have a few extra dollars spend it on products you are using to substitue something you have a hard time doing without. Like Breads, Pastas or sweets then buy larger cuts of meat and then lots of Veg. The reason I say meats before Veg is because you can find places with lettuce 3 for like $1-$3 and 3 cucumbers for $1 you can make up you veg quicker than meats. Those have a higher cost because of the care that goes into it. And replacement products like pasta are something that costs more but can streach farther and give you the satisfaction that your not missing out, giving you a chance to adjust without taking someones head off.
There is tons of stuff I know and wish to share with you but at this time it is going to take some time to compile. Please leave questions as I can see what the main question is and respond with a post. I will in the next couple posts give a listing of places to shop and go for foods and another on how to break down a balanced day. I will also list snacks here and there as I find I need them so watch for them. It can be a desert or a bowel of nibbles for those late gaming nights. I will also try and remember to take pictures of what I am buying or cooking for the voyers out there and I will start up a FB page and start making play lists of favorite music and low carb vids on Youtube.com. I will also let you know what I am doing for excersize and how I am trying that`s trying to sort my days. Right now it is chaos but from chaos comes order or so I keep tellng myself.

And so it begins...
Well here we are or at least just me as I know no one else is reading this just yet. But we have to start somewhere.
Ok so I am new to this blogging thing and it will take me some time to learn but untill then lets have fun. I am restarting my low carb diet and thought I would take this idea I had last year and put it to good use. I have been on and off low carb for years now. Mainly off as cost of food is high when you don't have much to spend. Both with shipping some items and produce it has been hell, but with some costs now available with out online buying the cost has gone down for me at least.
I know that the cost of food is going up this year but so is everything else. I live in Vancouver, BC and everything has a price on it. I mean bus fare just went up again. Tho groceries will be slightly cheaper next month since pennies won't be in our vocabulary ever again. They (the companies) will be rounding up or down to the nearist nickle, but be warned if you use any form of plastic either debit or credit it will be the cost down to the penny!
But anyway as you will find out I like to babble it is one of my short commings but usually I have random tid-bits that are worth a listen.
So low carbing is obviously cutting your carbs but how many people do it properly, next to non. Years ago low carb diets hit a craze yet again after the 70's. Everything was low carb we had stores bakeries and product lining our shelves. Now alot of the products produced were fantastic, but for every one that was good was like 5 that wern't.
People started getting sick and the government stepped in. Now here is where I hit you with facts and some consperacy. PEOPLE ARE STUPID! There I said it. They are stupid. If you read Dr. Atkins Diet Revolution the original not New Diet Revolution it is basic. Lower your carbs to 20 grams a day for your first week OR two. Not kill all carbs to zero and keep it there for weeks. God I am sooo mad at people. Carbs are food and fuel. We need them. Just like Calories what goes in also goes out. But in very different ways. With Calorie diets you put in and you have to exert sometimes 2-3 times as much in excersize just to burn the calories. But with Carbs your body already starts breaking it down to basic needs, fuel as energy and waste as in pee or poo (lol I had to). You can quite litterally sit on your butt all day and shrink where low Cal you have to get up.
Now you don't have to say it I know excersize is important and I agree but half an hour a day is all that is required to keep in shape or maintain. I am by no means an athlete but I do like to excersize. I belly dance, walk, hike, swim and soon to add skate. I also babysit my friends daughter and that in it's self is excersize. Like they say take the stairs instead of the elevator. Now I am getting off track again.
So people are getting sick in fact one person died! Well the government stepped in and said low carb was making all these people sick and tons of people were dieing. They then passed a ban here in BC on selling low carb. They did back off and alow it but the damage was done. Stores closed and people ran away from low carb. The problem here is the one person who died and they didn't say this is that she had gone on zero carbs for weeks and in fact lowered any food intake to almost nothing. Now this isn't the diet this was a sick person who needed help. This is called Anorexia and is a serious desease of the mind. The government waged war with campanes about how high protien will make you sick they did studdies that show you that it won't cause weight loss or if it did it would be minimal. I have seen and read these so called studdies. One there is no control groups and two the studdies were not done to the t' on how low carb should be followed. And here's the kicker they want you to be healthy but they push chocolates, candies, pops and whatever else is 'unhealthy' as healthy because you can have them on a low Calorie diet. Well to me that is keeping people of the worldin the dark about eathing healthy. I am not talking smoothies but just good food. If you cooked it from scratch it is quite alot healthier than what you get at the stores. You know what's in it! But they still trick you into thinking your doing a good thing.
Now I can go on and on but I think I will save some for you later. But please if you can go to the library or ask a friend to read the original Dr. Atkins Diet Revolution. I want anyone who is going to even try low carb to know where it started. It isn't pounds of bacon or lard and tons of fats. It is a balanced diet but with meat and veg as your main. Any carbs will come from your veg or sauces.
I have low carbbed for years on and off like I have had many excuses like all of you. But my main reason has always been money. It is cheaper to buy a jar of pasta sauce and a bag of noodles at the dollar stores then buying veg or meat at the grocery store. But with bills now catching up and having a couple more dollars in the pocket I am starting agian. My weight has come from many areas of life issues not just sitting around doing nothing. I had a hard childhood with a Grandmother who tried to use me as a tool of mass distruction within my family. It was so bad that my teachers were on high alert and to bring me inside if they saw her. She would force me to eat large adult portions not child size and she caused enough stress for me that I was trading anything I could to get food at school and I would hide it under my bed. After we moved that stopped but the large portions were hard to stop because I was still stressed with bulling at school which hadn't happened before until I started a new school. Buy about grade 12 that finally started to change as my mother introduced me to low carb. I lost a ton of weight but the stresses of extra classes and extra-curicular put some of that weight on again. But not too much. I then went to Culinary school and put on more. Not from eating as my classmates were more concerned I was turning anorexic because I wouldn't eat but my body did something else it absorbed it through the air. I know it sounds weird but it does happen. I ate b-l-d but just cooking seemed to be passed through the skin.
I finished school just to be faced with having to almost sue the school and my mother being sick and the land loards being dicks and my father not handling the stress I had to take care of everything. This left me drained emotionally, fisically and mentally. The house was strapped for cash I wasn't working and we had to go the cheapist way. Then I was able to lose the weight. I was working and things were going well. I got back onto my diet and got to the smallest I had been in years. I was about a size 16 and weighed just about 250lbs. I hadn't been there for a very long time. But I suddenly became sick with Cluster headaches and the medication they had put me on put 60 lbs on me in 2 weeks. It wasn't water weight either. Then stress of not knowing what days I could work and when I couldn't work I was left bed ridden. This did nothing for the waist line. I am now on a medication that alows me some time to do things but I still have bad days.
So my meds are good I am starting to balnce life lets see if we can do something... nope, life kicks me in the ass again and my headaches get worse or the meds arn't working as well anymore. Can't tell which. Then I go get my toncils out. Disaster. The equipment explodes in my mouth leaving me scared on the inner cheek and my lip. I then have a sesure and a headaches attack and a coughing fit coming out. I couldn't do anything. By the evening I had bronchitis and a throat infection set in I went from talking to not talking and they sent me home I came back severly dehidrated and in need of antibiotics. The only way to fix it was to put me on IV. Well the antibiotics they put me on gave me the worst side effect of dhiarria for 6 months. Then it slowly nomalized but going back to a regular eating habit was out of the question. I had re-developped cronic dhiarria. I slowly removed foods and added them back in. Just this year I finally found out that since my antibiotics I have developed an allergy to lettuce. So now I have to figure out how to low carb with out salad. Well here we go I will try to figure it out with you at my side.
