Soup tonight!

So I am having some chicken soup tonight. I am using angel hair pasta from Dreamfields pasta. If you don't have a good substitute make it a loaded soup and turn it into an egg drop soup. :)

Anyways not much today I'm not really hungry as I slept long today. So a nice soup while the wind blows hard and the trees whip around. I will be warm and fuzzy inside. Good night.

Birthday's!

So today I am heading out to a young man's second birthday today. If I have this right it is a friends friends son. I haven't met anyone yet so this should be good. :)

So haven't slept yet. Played some league of legends. One player is a know it all and I had to report him for harassment and foul language. :( quite a downer but tons of appreciation from other players for how I handled and that I didn't let it ruin the game :p Yay!

So off the diet a bit today. Only where I have to. But found myself starving and the coffee shop only had sweets. So I had an oatmeal raisin cookie and a Mocha. At the party I'm hoping for a veggie platter. I am using my credit card right now and I might make it to the 15th to borrow from mom. It's definately getting tight. Anyways. I'll keep you posted :)

Scheduling!

Arrgghhh! So I am trying to to find a day planner... I have no choice but to get one via the internet. Sigh, my schedule has suddenly increased. Where I thought I would do one convention and just play games, study my herbs and work on my health, I find that I am indeed wrong. I am looking at 3-5 different conventions including a craft fair ( which is not 5 or 6 tables but 500!) I am trying to stay on the diet and I am finding that I also need to have the day planner to plan meals. I am not eating as well as I would like.

So what I need to do is get ocd about things. Calendars and day planners. Most importantly I need a time schedule for things. A basic like if I were working or going to school then when I go out followed by fill in of games and various misc.

Soooo much to do. Most important thing is updating this blog. It hasn't gone where I would like, and that is no ones fault but my own. I have products waiting for review and need to finish spell checking my write ups for you guys. I think updating my laptop is in order. It can't do much but words it can do. I can't seem to plug into my phone like everyone else. To me a phone is not a computer it is a phone that can have a game or two and happens to access the internet.

Anyways, light day for food bot really hungry as I am having a couple medical issues so today was coffee and a hotdog no bun (big one not little Lmao) and dinner was borritos with low carb wraps. Splerged and had a couple rings of pineapple :D Now to figure out how to keep myself on schedule and not lose time!

Sun!

So today we started off with coffee and some sausages. Not too hungry today. Walked around for a few hours uptown, new Westminster and did some bill paying.

Lunch was tuna salad. I had that on diet bread but you can definitely have it with veggies or if you like crackers that are low in carbs. Best way to figure that out is look at how many grams a portion is. They will tell you how many pieces as well to how many carbs. If you are doing net carbs remove the fiber. Some crackers like Triscuit has two types of crackers the regular which are square and Thomas which are triangles. The Thomas are approx. 11gr per 12 pieces. This is equal to 1 per piece. Which is very good.

Still figuring out dinner but going back out for coffee. I'm thinking lake salad with what ever protein I can find a nice dressing with cheese chunks and cucumber, peppers and some hemp seeds toasted. :)

Desert will be mint parties by Russell Stovers, and either coffee or tea. Depending on my count from dinner.

The weather is so beautiful I encourage you to get out for a walk. Long or short it does not matter. Grab a friend, your child or pet. But get some sun. If you live somewhere still with snow, don't worry find somewhere like th mall or even work and walk, or do stairs. Have fun!

Phew!

Ok so I haven't updated because I was getting ready for Fan Expo Vancouver. I am my friends official helper and in that I spent three days making key chains and doing some running around for her. Now before you say anything she did a shit load of work 4 new pieces of art and Saturday and Sunday she went to get prints done while I did some set up and watched the table. I think we split the work quite well. I just can't help with the art bit since it is her stuff. ;D

So what an amazing weekend it was. I didn't get to meet any if the actors as I am broke but, and I wish I had the camera up, saw James Masters no more than 3 feet away from our table. I really just wanted to say thank you for all his work and give him a hug but sorry I can't pay for that. But no matter it was really cool to see him scoot past. I was the only one who noticed. :)

I also got to meet and hug R2-D2. He came right up to our table! I totally geeked out and am proud of it!

This whole weekend was so liberating. I let go and rejoined my peeps in geekdom and thrived on each sqwee! Never again will I allow myself to be separated from what I love.

I started this blog to help and share my love of food and gaming and to show that you can lose weight and be healthy playing games. But  I have been so run down because of life just not letting me be who I am. I have people popping up in my life just filled with drama and crap, that I seem to be lost in what they are doing. And the worst is I am spending so much time and effort in trying to fix their live so that we can do things together that mine is falling apart. No more. I don't care. If they have a problem and they are causing me problems then bye bye. I need to focus on what is happening in my life I need to lose this weight, not for health, as my health is really good, but for my confidence. I feel that since I am fat I can't because people see me differently. I don't want to be a size 0, I just want to be size happy. A 12-14 so I can shop in normal stores. I am currently a 24 sometimes 26 in shirt as I am well indowed. So I have a ways to Ho but that's ok. Spring is here no excuses! So enough for now talk to you guys later!

It's a lovley day in the neighborhood... XD

So today is a fantastic day. Other than getting sick from some food I bought while out and my head I am out and about!

Went to the low carb grocery today to top up my supplies and the owner just got in mink fruit sugar! Eeeee! I am so excited! I am trying to make a nice low carb sugar blend and it hasn't been sweet enough and you end up using more than you need.

I am trying to make a sugar substitute that everyone would love and can use. :)

Day off

So as I said yesterday, today is a day of diet free. I believe you can't be hard on yourself when dieting. The body loves change just as much as it likes things to stay the same. So with eating habits you have to change things up. I like doing it where I hang out with friends and have a day of enjoyment. This doesn't mean an eating contest, it just means have something you can't while on the diet. Like a special coffee with cane sugar or honey. Still keep it healthy ;)

Now don't do this every week. Keep it random. Stay on the diet as long as you can. Low carbing is regulated by your body. You can have salad while your out or if you go for a burger ask for some large pieces of lettuce to replace the bun.

I know I am behind on what I promised I will be done the notes and emails soon. And you'll have a ton of info. But please get a copy of Atkins diet revolution. The original. And either a book or app for nutrition on foods better a low carb book. It will help you while your out.
Lots to do so little time. Talk to you guys soon. I am going to enjoy my maple cappichino and half chicken and pesto panini :)

Fish story.

So this is my tank set up. All of them are planted tanks. I know they look bare, but you should have seen the main tank, which used to be the one one the bottom, it was full and lush. Buuuutttt since I made a bigger tank I thought, being all so clever, I can have one tank of more as plant growing tanks! Then I can sell or trade the plants for more fish goodies! I'm so clever! LOL >o<

So everything will grow and fill in. It's going to cost me a bit more to get everything up to snuff. I need a new filter on the bottom tank as it has started to make horible noises and I need a new one for the top tank. 2 new lights, maybe if I feel rich this year I'll cough up for l.e.d. lights. Expensive but cheaper on hydro. And I need 2 heaters. One snapped in half when my parents thought they'd be smart and move the tank. >:( And of course I need fish and more plants. A lot still to do but if I'm smart it will eventually pay for it's self :)

Something smells fishy!

So nice and easy. Down 5 lbs. Wanting more but I have been a little higher on my darn count. But it's all good. I have been out and about visiting friends and having to eat out. It's hard because I can't just go grab a salad due to my allergies to lettuce :( Soooo I'm making choices between one carve or another. So a little fruit is better than a sandwhich.

So I have finished putting my tanks together. Yay! A lot of work, but so worth it!

So the app I am using doesn't have a feature for adding a pic so once I get to my computer I'll upload what it looks like. It's still fresh because I had to do a full tear down from what it was to transfer to a new larger tank.  But all will grow in :)

Tomorrow is going to be an early start. I am out of here at 8 am and won't be home till probably the am on sat. Whoot!

Next project is to get the rest of my room finished. I really need to buy some storage and stuff to get my businesses up and going. Yes that is plural I did not make a spelling error. I am going to do an accessories and jewelry business, costumes and a bath and body. For now. I can do Soooo many things that I need to keep them separate, but they will be under one business name so as to keep it easy. It will all be by Iddp aka : I don't do pink. Canadian of course.

I am surrounded by people who are striving for more, some who are already there. I am not going to stay behind and be left in their dust. I am Going forward with them.

I just pray my health holds. Knock on wood.

Good morning

So last few days have been eventful. Dad and I had fun searching for goodies during recycle weekend in Tawassen. I found plenty of wine bottles for the mead I am making.

So started again yesterday for the diet. I have so much on my plate that I still haven't emailed the manager at the low darn grocery here in burnaby. Sigh. Slap my hand and put me in the corner.

So yesterday I had a granola bar from Atkins, chocolate, and a soda done with club soda and mio. Then dinner was carbenara over dreamfields pasta. And Greek yogurt with lemon curd. With a latte sweetened with splenda with whipped cream and a little chocolate syrup. Maybe totalling 30 net carbs.

Then for my excersise I moved my fish tank to my room. I upgraded from a 20 gal to a 30 gal tall. 6 hrs to fill and over 24 hrs to clear the water. So I also set up the 20 gal to set up a small tank for plant growth. I can trade plants at my pet shop for other goodies :)

And we're off!

So starting again has it's own stresses. I nearly used full sugar in my coffee... Lol. So starting with a coffee with sugar free kaluha mix and an Atkins bar. Not really hungry this morning but you still need something right ;)

Went with my mum to get her dentures re-adjusted. Oww!

A little run around today Lunch is next.

Made a grilled ham and cheese and oh myyyyy! Damn! Ham from Easter dinner two slices of cheese and I used diet bread. On the outside I used butter and roasted red pepper and garlic seasoning! Sooooo good!

Dinner was fab! Had eggs benni. Using diet english muffins ham eggs and holindase sauce.

All diet and nothing but yum!

Spa day!

So I went to take my friend out for a spa day. Full facial in the morning then full body massage.

Well I hot a surprise they gave me a complimentry facial as well. But the beat part both were free, I only had to pay for the body massage. Just over an hour $31! That's with tax. So in between we had lunch and went for a walk. After was her body and then we headed down to Richmond. Did some walking had a treat and headed home.

Tomorrow I will be back on track as far as the diet and excersize goes. I will post what I had and any recipes I can. After you read please follow. I will try in the next couple months to get Facebook up and going. Fingers crossed life gets in the way but you get half up and brush your self off and try again.

Quiet couple days.

So last few days passed by quickly and quietly. Haven't done much but laze around. Looking forward to this weekend hanging out with dad and the shop truck. Gonna go dumpster diving for fish tanks!  We have this event once a year that alows large quantities of recycleables to be put out on the curb for re-use. Things like furnature n'such. And we hit it every year! Wish us luck!
